Grappling X San Diego Jiu Jitsu competition

Great job to the athletes that competed on February 21, 2016, at local BJJ tournament, Grappling X in San Diego, CA.  Excel Jiu Jitsu team brought some kids competitors and some adult athletes to compete in a very competitive tourney that had all athletes, win or lose, walk away a champion.

In the Kids Division, the boys and girls from all the different Martial Arts Academies, that came to compete were all enthusiastic with lot’s of great Jiu Jitsu techniques that made for some great matches!

Excel had 3 kids that came to test their mettle.  Markis Duffy, Byron and Aiden Jackson.  What an awesome showing they had!

The Excel Jiu Jitsu Athletes that came to represent brought a lot of excitement and had some great matches!  An outstanding job goes to Andrew Martin, taking first place in the Mens Jiu Jitsu White Belt division.  Kenneth Molnar, taking second place in the Mens Jiu Jitsu White Belt division. Jon Cobb, taking first place in the Mens Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt division and First place in the Mens BJJ Absolute division.
