Jiu Jitsu builds us up

Jiu Jitsu makes me better

My first day of Jiu-Jitsu was one of the best and worst days of my life. The good part was that this was a new beginning and start to my whole life, but the bad news was that I tapped out many many times that day.

Jiu-Jitsu to me was a new lifestyle to be respectful and responsible. With Jiu-Jitsu it is the focus of using the least amount of effort for the maximum outcome, that was one of my first lessons.

I learned that because you may be the small guy in the fight you can always win if you have smooth Jiu-Jitsu.

My life in a whole has changed completely in the way I think about anything and how my actions work day to day.

Jiu Jitsu builds us up

I have bettered my diet and my health because of Jiu-Jitsu  I eat healthy take care of what my body needs instead of ignoring what my body aches for.

Jiu-Jitsu is not just some martial art, any sensei will tell you that. Jiu Jitsu is another family, the people that you train with take something from you and vice versa. Jiu-Jitsu is a sport,a lifestyle, most importantly another family.

Jiu Jitsu for everyone

Anyone and everyone should know Jiu-Jitsu, I doesn’t matter if you’re too weak or to old or don’t have enough time. This art was made for those who aren’t the strongest and the strategic. After all the mind is over the body, if you set yourself up with the technique with balance of strength and speed you will excel greatly.

My favorite quote from my Professor Michio Grubbs is “even the bullies are learning Jiu-Jitsu” and he is right, now is better than later and Jiu-Jitsu is worth any amount of time you have.
