Health and Fitness are two essential components needed to achieve true happiness and overall longevity. Unfortunately, these are also the two things the majority of the population sell themselves short on. Looking for the every way to cut corners, desperately searching for a “quick fix” or that “miracle pill” and I too, was one of those people. Once, I didn’t have a clear understanding of the intricate roll self worth and commitment played in my struggle with weight loss, for me it was the difference between failure and success. Today nearly 100 pounds lighter, and seven years later, I strive everyday to help people reach their goals and show them how attainable it could be, if you prioritize what really matters to you.
For past four years, I have immersed myself in fitness education, health and nutrition courses, and studied and applied the importance of body mechanics to get the maximum benefits and results from a workout routine. Not only to increase my knowledge, but to also further my ability to reach out to a larger group of people who are passionate about changing their lives for the better. During this time I have become a certified personal trainer by the National Exercise Sports Training Association, specializing in strength and endurance sports performance training, Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning, rehabilitation therapy, and improving ones overall fitness level.
I work with many people in the beginning stages of a program, who are just starting to incorporate fitness into their daily routines with no previous workout history, helping them develop a solid foundation, and to build a new skill set. I have trained professional athletes, as well as military personnel, while also helping the dedicated housewife who struggles just to make time for herself. I am also a Certified Group/Class Instructor ranging in classes from Boot camp’s to Zumba, from Boxing to aqua aerobics. My mission is to help improve people’s lives through health and fitness.
