Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full contact, combat sport, also known as cage fighting or ultimate fighting. The main features of MMA are its combinations of striking and grappling techniques, combined with athleticism and the Warrior Spirit. In our workouts, we target building up stamina, endurance and the strength to build up and bring out, the Warrior within you.
Our training sessions are designed to cater to people at all levels of fitness, including beginners and those new to MMA. You will have a variety of training partners that have different skill levels, but know that everyone on our training floor is taught to look after and protect one another. An individual can customize their workout by adjusting their intensity level to best suit their personal Mixed Martial Arts fitness goals.
If you’re interested in giving it a try, come on in! At the very least you’ll find out whether it’s for you or not; it’s more likely you’ll enjoy the experience, have fun and get the most awesome workouts with some great training partners on a weekly basis to help you achieve your goals.
Our Strength & Conditioning Classes are based on ‘Strength in Motion’. We use Interval and Circuit training to mimic the energy system used in competition. Come in and get an awesome workout and feel invigorated and develop the stamina of a fighter.
Strength to a fighter is a necessary attribute to have. Jiu-Jitsu Competitors, Combat Athletes, Martial Artists, and MMA Fighters should work to build strength, on a regular basis. Strength helps to execute Martial Arts techniques, helps to protect from potential injury, and helps to defend against an opponent or attacker.
By combining Mixed Martial Arts training sessions with our Strength & Conditioning fitness classes, you are sure to build up to a higher level. The combination of different martial arts (such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Wrestling, and Muay Thai) are put together into one Sport (MMA) to better accommodate a person’s physical body type and combative talents. MMA-style training is the perfect choice for those interested in competing or learning self-defense, improving self-confidence, or just getting in remarkable shape. And, it’s not just for extreme athletes. MMA training is designed for all ages, abilities, and skill levels.
In our Strength and Conditioning workouts we implement a variety of training tools which include, Kettle Bells, Medicine Balls, TRX training just to name a few. Make sure to bring an extra towel and a dry shirt for after the workout because you will get in shape, lose weight and have fun doing it!
Try our MMA and our Fitness workouts and you will find that it’s a total body workout. The key elements that our training focus on are the endurance, strength, power, and core aspects.
